Welcome to the Dayton "Situational" 5 Game Guarantee Showdown!
May 26 & 27, 2012
Because the Ohio High School Athletic Association changed the playability dates for softball athletes next year (now they can play their first summer ball games the weekend before Memorial Day instead of starting the weekend after if their high school team has been eliminated from the state tournament), we are going to do a 2-day, 5 game guarantee tournament over Memorial Day. That way you get to have 2 days full of softball and still enjoy the Memorial Day holiday on Monday.
This tournament will present actual game situations during pool play. For example -
- the first inning would start with a runner on first base
- the second inning would start with a runner on second base
- the third inning would start with a runner on third base
The purpose of this is so that all the girls can learn how to handle these situation in real games before the regular 2012 tournament season begins. We feel this unique format will be both educational and fun for the girls. These rules will exist only in pool play - elimination bracket play will have standard rules. The pitching distance at the 14 and under division for this
tournament will be 43 feet.

tournament without a completed entry form and at least a $100 deposit. We do accept credit cards for

as in every previous year, the tournament sells out, all schedules and
pools will be emailed to the coaches at least 30 days before the
tournament. If you believe you are registered for the tournament and
you have not received the schedule by then, please let us know.
