Here are general frequently asked questions. For any tournament specific questions please see the links above. 

How do I register?

I put down a deposit. When is my final payment due?

May 1, 2020

I want to pay by check. Where can I mail it?

We do not accept checks. Payment must be made through our online registration system at  www.teamsideline.com/fastpitchshowdowns

What is your refund policy?

A $100 non-refundable deposit or payment in full is required to sign up for each Fastpitch Showdown Tournament. If the team decides to withdraw before the tournament is sold out (or May 1, whichever comes first ), a full refund will be issued less the $100 non-refundable deposit. If a team drops out after May 1 or the tournament has sold out earlier and we have turned away teams, no refund will be issued.

What if I am not sanctioned USA Softball?

Sanctioning is available when you check in at the tournament. The process takes 3 minutes. The pricing will remain the same in 2020 - $35 for onsite Team Registration for tournaments in Ohio and $25 for the Motor City Showdown.

What do I need for check in?

Proof of insurance and proof of USA Softball sanctioning. Sanctioning is available when you check in.

When should I expect the schedule?

The schedule should be emailed out to coaches and posted on our web site approximately 30 days before the tournament. 

Are metal cleats allowed?

METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED AT BERLINER PARK - This means no metal cleats at any age group for the Capital City Showdown, Buckeye RecruitFest or any North American All Sanctioned World Series.

What college coaches are attending  the tournaments with clinics?

The list will be posted on each tournament page beginning April 15th and updated as coaches confirm.

What is the deadline for submitting my player profile?

Please go to the specific event page to see the deadlines.

What if I did not fill out my profile in time?

Contact your coach to see your options. 

How do I nominate players for an All-Star Game?

Please go to the specific event page to see details.

Can a player participate in the Clinic and All-Star Games?

Yes, the events are all on Thursdays but do not overlap so players may participate in all events.
