Sanctioning is available when you check in at the tournament. The process takes 3 minutes. We do not have the 2020 pricing yet but last year it was $30 per team.

What do I need for check in?

Proof of insurance and proof of USA Softball sanctioning. Sanctioning is available when you check in.

Is there a parking or admission fee?

Due to feedback from coaches, parents, fans and the park, we will once again not charge an admission fee at the gate. We will collect a flat admission fee of $175 ($225 CAD) per team in advance of the tournament. A PayPal link will be sent to coaches after January 1, 2020.

What is the format?

All teams have a 5 game guarantee and will play our standard 3 day format – pool play on Friday and Saturday with single elimination bracket play starting on Sunday. For age groups with 8 or more teams, brackets will be divided into Platinum (teams finishing in the top half of their pool) and Gold (teams finishing in the bottom half of their pool). The brackets will not play each other. The winner and finalist for each bracket will receive medals.

The schedule should be emailed out to coaches and posted on our web site no later than 30 days before the tournament.

Do I have to book a hotel through your hotel coordinator?

Once again we have partnered with Traveling Teams to be our official hotel coordinator. We believe that their low price guarantee and personalized 24/7 support service offer the best service to our teams. This a STAY TO PLAY tournament for out of town teams (more than 70 miles away). Please do not book your hotel through any other travel agent and do not contact the hotel directly. To request a block of rooms, you may contact Traveling Teams at 800-430-1159.

How does the International Cup work?

We keep track of all pool play games that involve a US team playing a Canadian team. The country with the most wins in pool play will have their name put on the cup for this year. The International Cup will be on display throughout the tournament at headquarters and stays at Kickers Sports Bar until the following year.
