General Tournament FAQ's

Here are general frequently asked questions. For any tournament specific questions please see the links above. 

How do I register?

I put down a deposit. When is my final payment due?

May 1

I want to pay by check. Where can I mail it?

We do not accept checks. Payment must be made through our online registration system at  www.teamsideline.com/fastpitchshowdowns

What is your refund policy?

A $100 non-refundable deposit or payment in full is required to sign up for each Fastpitch Showdown Tournament. If the team decides to withdraw before the tournament is sold out (or May 1, whichever comes first ), a full refund will be issued less the $100 non-refundable deposit. If a team drops out after May 1 or the tournament has sold out earlier and we have turned away teams, no refund will be issued.

What if I am not sanctioned USA Softball?

If you have not yet registered for USA Softball, please complete the form below prior to the event and bring proof of completion to check-in or upload proof of sanctioning prior to the event.

What do I need for check in?

Proof of insurance and proof of USA Softball sanctioning. Sanctioning is available when you check in. This information must be uploaded to your Team Sideline account prior to the start of the event.

When should I expect the schedule?

The schedule should be emailed out to coaches and posted on our web site approximately 14 days before the tournament. 

Are metal cleats allowed?

METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED AT BERLINER PARK.

METAL CLEATS ARE PERMITTED AT MOTOR CITY SHOWDOWN FOR 14U, 16U, 18U

What college coaches are attending the tournaments with clinics?

The list will be posted on each tournament page beginning April 15th and updated as coaches confirm.

What is the deadline for submitting my player profile?

Please go to the specific event page to see the deadlines.

What if I do not submit my rosters in time or need to add players after the deadline?

You may be able to add players when you check in.

How do I nominate players for an All-Star Game?

Please go to the specific event page to see details.

Can a player participate in the Clinic and All-Star Games?

Yes, the events are all on Thursdays but do not overlap so players may participate in all events.
